Ltn Tanaki Yoko, human female, 31 Tactical Officer Tanaki was born in a small village near Tokyo. She is very shy. She rarely speaks her mind and her presence during crew briefings goes almost unnoticed. She contributes only if she has something of extreme importance to say. Otherwise, Tanaki, not unlike Kowalsky, remains slightly outside the group. She is close only with her immediate friends: Liana and Aleyah. Even with them, though, she prefers listening to speaking.
	Cns Aleyah Purr, Changeling female, 36 Being a Changeling means that Aleah can appear as anything or anyone in the Universe. She, however, as a ship's councelor, is disciplined. While on duty, she has a form of a human female, which captain Anthony finds rather attractive. Only for her friends' entertainment is she willing to change her form during off duty activities. During various missions, she utilizes her abilities and poses as different species. The USS Explorer's mission is extremely long, therefore Aleyah has a lot of work keeping the crew sane.
	Dr Darek, Vulcan male, 87 Chief Medical Officer A typical Vulcan: usually calm and logical. Trying to understand and deal with other races' emotional natures. He is very demanding and expects only the best from his staff. He's learnt, however, that praise has extrordinary influence on people's efficiency. Therefore, he prides himself on being very fair and patient.
	Ltn JG Vort Moore, Scythiaan female, 72, Nurse Vort is yet another outsider. However not as much by choice but because her race has not yet been fully accepted by most humanoids. She unbelievably fast and her behaviour is often unpredictable. She is also an extremely strong telepath. The only member of the crew who doesn't seem affected by her particular features is Dr Darek. When Joanna gets to know Vort better, they form a relationship which has a potential to become close friendship.
	Private Joanna Kruk, human female, 36 Joanna is a woman from our 21st century Earth. By a mysterious accident she has been snatched from her reality and placed aboard the USS Explorer. In her previous life, she was a fan of a TV serious, called Star Trek. Her fragmentary knowledge of historical events is a constant source of surprise for both her and the rest of the crew. Joanna willingly accpeted her situation and is determined to make the best of her life in the 25th century.
	Chris aka Yagla, energy being, 3000 Yagla is a very powerful energy being, native to Andromeda. Although he is exremely old by human standards, his age is equivalent of a human child of about 7. He has been left by his parents to gain knowledge, as is common for his species. However, after the initial encounter with the USS Explorer he developed particular attachment to Joanna, whom he regards as his mother. He was allowed to stay aboard as Chris, on the condition that he will never use his powers.
